Supernatural Fans Unite!!!

I may not have had much chance to blog recently, but I have been checking in from work. Including my site meter. I was surprised to see that my visits per day have shot up from betweent 18 and 21 to between 73 and 115!! So, I delved a little deeper. Checked where most of the searches were centred and found out it was a certain image posted ages ago on my top ten men post.

It seems that now the new series of Supernatural is back on, more and more people want to see the lovely Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) in the flesh. Hmmmmm don't we all ;) Most of the searches have been for my picture of him, or my picture of Dominic Purcell from Prison Break. I obviously have good taste in men :)

So.....to tickle your taste buds some more, here are three well chosen pictures of Jensen Ackles, yes you search engine fans that's Jensen Ackles from Supernatural.

Those eyes, that perfectly tanned skin, although if you check the behind the scenes footage from the Supernatural dvd, you will see it is make up, he burns in the sun bless him. Cue me rubbing on after sun hehehehehehehe!

If you're like me, an avid Supernatural fan, you will have noticed that this necklace appeared around the lovely Jensen's neck recently. Can I work out what it is? No, but I like it. He's not a man for chains, he goes for the leather thong style necklace. He has taste!

Saving the best for last.............. imagin if you will, a dangerous situation. Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) saving the life of his brother Jared Paladecki (Sammy Winchester) in a bloody battle. He's angry, yet at the same time releived he has killed the demon/vampire/shapeshifter that was threatening the life of his brother. He slowly removes his tee shirt revealing.......

THE most amazing six pack ever! I can see him now saying to Sammy "You owe me one bro......Big time"

Ok, ok, now pick yourself up off the floor, stop drooling and concentrate on the seriousness of the storyline.

Will Sammy revert to the dark side and be taken over by the yellow eyed demon? In the process will Dean be faced with the thought of having to kill his beloved brother for the sake of humanity? How many "special people" are there out there. The ones with psychic powers, who dream of deaths before they happen, who have spoken to by the yellow eyed demon, been told they are special, and they will be the soldiers who bring down all of mankind? How many of them have powers beyond belief, telepathic abilities, the ability to move things just through thought, the ability to electrocute someone with just one touch, the ability to alter the thoughts in someone's mind?

Will good win over evil? Will Sammy stay a loving brother helping Dean to defeat the yellow eyed Demon. Did Dean make a pact with the demon to bring back his father who sacrificed himself in exchange for Dean's life? If so, will the father come back as a good person, or a soldier for the demon......how many more episodes are there? Will there be a third series? What will I do when it finishes?

So, Supernatural fans unite, and yes Sunray Child that includes you. Anyone yet to see the gorgeous Jensen Ackles in action, tune in to ITV2 ona Sunday evening at 9pm and watch his gorgeousness in action. Oh yes, and of course admire his acting skills too ;)

For now......I'm off to try and help defeat the yellow eyed demon, or to drool over some more Jensen Ackles pictures.

How many times do I need to to type Jensen Ackles in one post to become a Google "whore". Hhehehehehehehe.

Sis In Law......thank you for Saturday, another lovely day with you, Mr Bleach and the girls. But....I think you need to check out Baby Faith's (Holli's) blog to see what the girls need for next year. An actual egg collecting easter basket!!!!!! I hope the girls had as much fun finding the eggs as I did creating the colours!!And yes I am up, hubby is none the worst for wear after his roller skating bike riding sessions ;)

Spot The Difference!!

As you know I regularly have hunks which I adore. I did my top ten men, which included, Wentworth Miller, Robbie Williams, Dominic Purcell, Tom Cruise, Dermot O Leary, hubby, and oh.....hubby.

Recently added was John Barrowman, a total dish. But.....I've just discovered Ugly Betty on Channel 4. I was hooked on Celebrity Big Brother, and the first to episodes were shown in between the two Friday evening programmes, as a consequence, I used this hour to wash up, get changed, do my hair etc etc, and never really took much notice of the programme. This Friday however I did.

The lead man in the show is simply.......adorable! Tight suits, beatifully colored shirts with matching tie's and hankies in pockets. The way he stands with his hands on his hips, hmmmm. Chiselled jaw line, amazingly blue eyes, lovely thick messed up hair, oh and did I mention his muscles?

Anyway, I instantly fell for this man, but......he reminded me of someone else. So much so that I thought one of our English actors was playing the lead, and not an american man. Instant Google, and I found this. The lead man in Ugly Betty is Eric Mabius. Same age as me. The english actor I was thinking of is Lloyd Owen, quite a few years older. He was in Monarch of the Glenn, and is now in The Innocence project on BBC1. He too is a hunk, the same blue eyes, chiselled jawline, thick hair and did I mentione muscles?

Anyway..apart from Lloyd's scar on his chin, I think these two could be twins, dopplegangers, brothers? I'll let you see for yourselves.

What do you think? Do they look alike, are they both extremely dishy, cute, adorable? I only wish I'd watched Ugly Betty from the beginning! I have found, however, that on NTL I can review and record it, and see the next episode tonight before it is aired on channel four on Friday....methinks both dvd recorders might be in action to catch the rest of the season! Then, play, pause, play, pause etc etc etc. Come back hubbyyyyyyyyy!

Yesterday at work I had some wonderful news. At first I was scared whitless being called into an office by Boss S. But, to cut a long story short, instead of filling in weekly time sheets, they are putting me in a contract for the hours I currently work, they will issue me a new contract each time I increase my hours. Boss S announced that she, and the company are perfectly happy for my final, permanent contract to be three working days!!!!!!

No more worrying about whether there will be a position for me with just the hours my body can manage! No more worrying that eventually I might have to tell them my body will not let me work full time! No more worrying!!!

Boss S came back to me and said that the lady in HR is fine with this, as long as I am fine. In other words, they are looking after me so well it is unbelievable! I was over the moon. I texted everyone I could think of with the news, and I got some wonderful texts back. I have such a support network around me of friends, family and work colleagues and bosses that it is unbelievable. Now is the time I find out who my friends are, and how much people think of me.......and that means so much to me.

Gone are the days of worrying if someone is watching me through the letterbox, calling themselves a friend. Welcome to the days when I have people I know I can turn to, people I can talk to, people I can text at any moment and get support and care.

It makes me so proud! It makes me so happy :)

Of course when I spoke to hubby he analysed it financially....but all is well in Whisky land.

Birthday Girls and Torchwood

Yesterday I did all of my remaining chores. I went to the post office like a good little Avon rep and sent off my returns parcel and paid monies received to clear my account. Popped to Tesco for bread and milk, got a paper for me to read today (Thursday) and headed off to Sis In Laws to see the Birthday Girl.

We went to pick her up from school, and was promptly called inside to see her sparkle book. It's like a diary that she writes of her day to day happenings. I turned to her birthday, and read it.....lovely...then I noticed the entry for Monday. She had written about her dance show and that Nan and ME! had been to see her. How proud I felt seeing my name in her book, knowing that she thinks of me, and that I am actually featuring in her growing up!

Back to her house and she opened some more presents. She was a little surprised that the present from hubby and I, once opened, had another present inside. Clever Whisky. Lots of cuddles, and dancing, and catching of a funny sucker ball later, and I left knowing that SIL had to get the two girls and Nan ready to go swimming ;)

I drove home contented. Yes I went over the speed limit again in my ickl purple car....but when the lorries get in the way a girl has to do what a girl has to do.

Home......and lonely, I decided to watch two of my prerecorded shows while I did my own french manicure. The one I had done in France had lasted for nearly three weeks, but it was that well done,and the nail polish was that hard that it had shattered! My nails looked like badly chipped stained glass windows....and were way to long for computer use at work!

So....chopped, filed, removed old nail polish, base coat, painted on the white free style without using the half moons provided. (The lady who did my manicure did this, and I was amazed and thought it would be really difficult). It was easier than I thought....top pink coat, and top shiny coat....all done, and looking very good even if I do say so myself!

I mentioned it to hubby the other week, but as I have been feeling better I have been taking more care of myself. Who needs to shave their legs, pluck their eyebrows and do their nails when they hardly leave the house for two years! So now....hair braiding, epilation of legs, and nails done fortnightly.....I care about my self again :)

Anyway.....I recorded, as I watched, Torchwood this week. It saves me going into the living room to watch it on the NTL box on on demand. I have to admit it is a fantastci show. Yes it's a spin off from Dr Who, and yes I missed the episodes of Dr Who that Captain Jack Harkness appeared in. But....now he has his own "spin off show" which is Torchwood....I'm in heaven.

It's just as good as the new Dr Who...but sexier. As in more than just the odd peck on the cheek. I mean.....alien S**!! Eeewwww. But the characters are extremely clever...and very intelligent. There is "the minion", as in the man who chauffers them around sometimes, cleans up, and looks after the hub of Torchwood. The man who used to be a Doctor in a hospital, who of course advises on medical things and cause of death. The extremely intelligent computer whizz, who has an unrelinquished crush on the doctor guy, and new recruit Gwen, who is an ex policewoman and sort of thrown in at the deepend as she had never come accross aliens before.....Like we all have!

Anyway...the "boss" of Torchwood is Captain Jack Harkness. The man who for some reason, not yet revealed (unless it was in Dr Who) cannot die. He is american, has wit, intelligence, a lovely quirky sense of humour, and dashing good looks. Always dressed in Black trousers, white tighty tee shirt, blue/green shirt, braces, and a lovely old fashioned army style long black coat.



That character is played by John Barrowman. The man who was in strictly on ice, and on the panel of judges for How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria. He has also played the lead roles in well over 30 musicals. He can dance and sing.....and Oh boy can he act. He has also recently been on numerous quiz shows and chat shows. He was recently on the Johnathon Ross show, and I laughed so hard I cried!!!

He was born in england but brough up in America so has an adorable accent. I have to admit, he also has a body and face to drool over endlessly. So much so, that if I see him on a quiz or talk show....I record it! I missed recording Johnathon Ross though....nit wit!

But have you guys twigged yet? Something that I didn't realise, but hubby told me. Let's see if you can get it. Dr Who is the original programme......Torchwood is the spin off programme. And no, it's not the fact that Torchwood is mentioned endlessly in Dr Who....there is another astonishing link?

I'll let you know tomorrow. But I'm sure if there are any other Dr Who or Torchwood viewers reading this then they will get it.

So.....my new crush, and going into my top ten men is John Barrowman. Yes he is gay and has had a partner for 16 years.....but I can still look! I'm a healthy (nearly) red blooded female. Yes I'm happily married....but every girl needs some eye candy. Whether it's Robbie Williams, Tom Cruise, Mel Gibson or John Barrowman. But you all know that hubby is number one!

Whew...what a ramble today. Anyone guessed I've just drank my milky coffee!

So....today, Work in a couple of hours, then home, then quickly bath, change, make up and hair, and I'm off out to the works Sales Conference meal. Apparently there will be some team building excersises as well. Non of which I have been advised are phsysical or strenuous. Does that mean I will have to use my brain then.....that's me in last place!

Tomorrow, it's going to be a good long lie in.....and then hubby will be home! Wooohoooooooo! One of the hugest ever cuddles coming up.
