England Here We Come!

Or not if they lose on Saturday. But, I have to be seen to be supporting them for hubby's sake LOL.

So my nails will be duly painted with the St Georges Cross today in anticipation of the big game tomorrow.

Once more we are invading Sis and Bro In Law. How they put up with us so often I'll never know. It's due to be a football watching, bbq-ing, paddling pool frenzy. But after hubby has had a can or two I'm sure he will manage to cook the burgers in the paddling pool, and watch Wayne Rooney score on the bbq. Oh well, as long as it's fun....who cares!!

I'm looking forward to it! Not only do I get to spend some time, hopefully in the sun, with Little Miss Pink, Little Miss Purple, and of course Sis In Law and Mr Bleach....but hopefully I can drive hubby's car home again.......woooohoooooo!

Seriously, days like Saturday and Wednesday mean a lot to me. It's how family life is supposed to be. Watching the kids grow, both in height and their personalities......it's what some people miss out on when family move away. (no one in hubby's family I might add).

But....I don't want to be seen as taking over! Everyone needs their space, and I hope if anyone needed time out from either me or hubby, they would say.

Life in general is going well (touch wood). I'm not sure if I mentioned that I had received a letter from the Birmingham hospital. Remember last year when I saw the lovely Professor.....well he's left! I received a letter from the Dr who has taken his place, saying they wanted to admit me and do an exploratory op under anaesthetic. The way the letter read it sounded as if thet thought they could use orifices I no longer have.....to put it bluntly.

Anyway....after much hinting from my Mum, I finally rang my surgeon Mr R to ask his advice. I rang his secretary, knowing he was in his clinic on Thursdays and spoke to her. She mentioned I was on the "list" of important callers and Mr R would ring me back asap.

Sure enough an hour later he rang me. He used his ususal nickname for me.....which I have to say I only allow him to use, and asked what was up. "How's the lumps n bumps Kirst" were his exact words LOL. I told him I was doing really well, he even said I sounded well.....can someone sound well?

Anyway, I explained the Birmingham letter, and his first reaction was "Did you say he was a Dr and not a Mr?" I replied yes, it definately said Dr.....he laughed and said......"No way, don't let them near you Kirst".

He basically said what I had been thinking.....if it was a procedure I would benefit from, or that Mr R couldn't do, then fine, go for it. But to both me and Mr R, it sounded as if they didn't know what they were going to do, or indeed how they were going to do it. So Mum and I were right.....steer clear whilst I'm healing so well.

Mr R asked if had an appointment to see him as the "system" was dodgy with the hospital transfer from old to new buildings this month. I said yup....August. He was pleased with that, and said he knew I was sensible enough to call him if I needed to see him sooner :)

That's why I like Mr R, not only has he got me out of one or two surgical pickles, he understands me and how my disease affects me, and he listens to my opinions. He is of the understanding that no one knows their own body better than themselves. His honesty and sense of humour make me trust him.....and he has even been known not only to ask me what to get his wife for Christmas/anniversary and birthday's whilst perching on my bed with a cup of tea......but give me a cuddle in front of hubby when I was blubbing. Bless him, that's what I call a dedicated surgeon.....and after all he is a Mr and not a DR lol.

Anyway.....enough whittering for today......I'm off to paint the St George's flag on my nails ready for England to get knocked out of......I mean win the world cup.

Hugs and love for all

Driving Miss Whisky

Hubby returned on Friday night to a big hug. It seemed to be a mad panic for about ten minutes. Texts, phone ringing, hubby coming home in new car.....aaaarghh what to do?! Text reply sent, phone answered, it was hubby LOL, and a coffee later we were off in his new car.

First stop was my Mum and Dad's. They loved it! Said it was big, which it is, but they loved it. Dad threatened to invite hubby out for dinner on Sunday round about the time England were due to kick off LOL.

Then hubby drove us to the road I learned to drive on. It's a small industrial estate with a couple of islands. I took over the controls.....scared, but it was cool. I wanted to go round twice, but hubby told me to pull over so he could drive. We popped to his parents, anyone guessed that he wanted to show his car off yet? Mr Bleach was there, so yet another person saw his pride and joy. We had a quick drink and then, finally, went to get some dinner and went home.

I had chicken chow mein for a change. Normally I would eat what I could and have the rest for lunch on Saturday. We were sat there eating and watching big brother, and I heard a strange noise....my fork hitting the bottom of the container!! I had eaten it all....little piggy me! But I enjoyed it :)

Saturday I got up fairly early and had a bath, when I came down Sis In Law was here. We had a coffee and a chat and off she went to do some more shopping and go home for a well deserved rest.

We got in the car and headed off into the countryside. We went to a lovely antiques centre, and two garden centres. It was a loovely day, and it gave hubby chance to get used to his new toy. Dinner and Dr Who, big brother and bed.

Sunday and we weren't sure what we were doing. We had been invited to Sis and Bro In Laws to watch the England game....but hubby wanted to see how he was feeling when he got up ashe had some stuff to do on his pc.

I get up (late) and ask what the plan is....and he's all eager to go over to theirs and watch the footy Yayyyy!

Before we left I did ask him twice if he needed my car keys, knowing I would be the return driver so he could have a drink. No he say's my car is fine.

I tried not to think about it. The boys watched the football, and the girls sat in the sun talking, or playing word games in puzzle books. We heard when ENgland scored and everyone went rushing inside!

After clarification of goal scorer we all went back out. Once the game was over it was mass clear up, and into the house. I tried to help Sis In Law with dinner, but she seemed to have it all under control.....and it was scrummy!

In between talking hubby and Mr Bleach had started to watch another football match. I was getting worried as it was starting to get dark.....and I had to drive the new car home!

Eventually I tore hubby away from the telly, and the talk of a "trip" and we got into the car.

I then spent five minutes adjusting my seat, trting to find out where the lights were, and getting very very nervous.

Take off.....literally cos that car is fast!

We got home in one piece, and I really enjoyed the drive. I felt safe, the car felt good, not too big (but I didn't have to park it), and knowing hubby was there to put me right made me feel confident.

The only mistake I made was when I got out of the car in front of our house. I'm so used to leaning on the steering wheel of my little Nissan to help me out of the car. I forgot that that is where hubby's horn is!! I think I woke half the street up. I just kept saying I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. Hubby was fine.....he said at least the horn had been christened LOL.

So home, I had a celebratory glass of wine....hubby went to bed and I stayed up late chilling out and watching tv.

I actually felt like a thirty five year old woman with responsibilities for all of ten minutes. I guess that's what driving a two day old car that belongs to your hubby does to a girl.

Today I'm back to me, thirty five but feel like fifteen :)

Happy Monday everyone.

Hugs for all

Where Does The Time Go?!

Hubby was away last night, normally I would have checked the house four times mission impossible style before going to bed.....but I got carried away emailing pictures from my phone (did I tell you it was pink?)! I finally looked at the clock at one fourty five am!! Straight upstairs to bed and zonked out quickly.

Of course I missed him, I missed having to watch the football....and there wasn't all that much on tv last night after big brother, hence playing with my phone.

He'll be home soon...all excited with his new toy! As long as I can play too I don't mind.

Yesterday was fun. Mum came round as usual, and I had already dusted and vacuumed upstairs.....we sat and talked about Nintendogs. Yes I am still hooked....but the current game is How Old Is Your Brain. It has various puzzles to test how old the function of your brain is. I started off at 73! and after training and training I have brought it down to 27.....not bad considering I am 35.

It also has Soduko on it....I'm not one for numbers normally, so I was gobsmacked when I completed my fist puzzle....now I'm just hooked.

Anyway, on Nintendogs, the ultimate puppy to get is the dalmation......guess who has beat me to it?

Yeah, my Mum!! All I could say was...."That's so not fair"!

So now Mum has a new puppy dalmation called Smudge.....I need to practice more.

I managed to get a sleep yesterday afternoon, hubby rang and we chatted for ages, I had dinner and settled down to watch Big Brother.

As I've said it was a late night....therefore it was a late start for me today. But I have managed to go out in my car again!! Wooooooho......there's no stopping me now.

So here I sit, patiently waiting for hubby to turn up in his new car.

Think of us touring the country lanes....air conditioning on, cd playing Robbie, and a mad woman behind the wheel saying "I wonder what this button does".

Hahahahahahah.

Time to go..............love you all

Hugsssssssssss

Back On The Road Again!!

Watch out folks.....I went out in my car today for the first time in twelve months...Yayyyyy!

I was a bit nervous, so I just popped to Tesco to drop off a prescription and came back....but I did it, and pain free woooohooooo!

I suffered, oh I mean sat through the Enland match last night. Half way through I sat quietly playing soduko on my nintendo, England scores, hubby whoops with joy, and poor old me needs scraping off the ceiling!! I did feel sorry for Michael Owen though...poor bloke. I think he took one look at the Swedes and decided he didn't want to play LOL.

Life post Sam the doggy has been a bit deflated. All it's done really is emphasise how happy I am when I have a doggy. If I wasn't talking to Sam I was singing, and even hubby asked me if I had started slipping whisky into my milky coffee's during the day! I quickly told him off....me being the one person who only has an alcoholic drink before 8pm at Christmas or important family occasions! Being brought up in a pub quickly put me off drinking in the day....all you end up dping is drinking some more, then some more....I don't see the point. I know my limits and soon stop and go onto soft drinks to sober up a bit.

So, hubby if you read this, it was happiness not alcohol that influenced me to sing Chucklebunny around the house all day long!

I forgot to mention, hubby has a new car coming on Friday. It's partly down to his new job, company car and all that, but he is sooooo excited. He's even pencilled us in for going out on Friday night so I can have a drive too!

I'm still stewing over the happenings at the weekend. Not a lot gets my back up, I'm quite placid really....but boy can I hold a grudge, analyse things and come to my own conclusions. Paranoid springs to mind.

There are only five people that are aloud to do that to me! Mum and Dad, Hubby, Sis In Law and Me! Gggrrrooowllllll!

Anyway....today is another day, and another goal accomplished for me. The next step will be the dreaded W word! Now I'm really scared.

Love to all

Hugs

I Missed My Blog!!!!!

The past week and a half I have been in doggy heaven. As Sam was dropped off V and A warned us he may be off his food and a little down as he miight miss them for a couple of days. I was prepared. That night I took him for a walk before bed time, just to let him know that I would look after him. Plenty of fuss, cuddles and kind words followed. He slept soundly at the side of my bed that night and I knew I had made a friend.

The next nine days involved lots of walking, fur brushing, which he loves, and fussing. It was so good to have someone to talk to during the day! Yeah ok so that sounds a little strange.....but I re christenend him Chucklebunny. He always seemed to walk around with a smile on his fur covered face, and that made me chuckle. Therefore Chucklebunny he was.

He ate all of his food, he behaved on his lead, he drank plenty of water, and dutifully watered the conifers in the garden.

I have to say he is one clever dog. Lots of times I caught him watching me and hubby in the reflection of the patio doors rather than us know he was watching us. He refused to play on the lawn with his sock until I had scooped his poop!

He guarded the house as if it was his own, uncluding protecting us from motor bikes, barking dogs the postman and the ice cream man!

On the Monday as hubby was leaving for work Sam tried to jump up at him, which he hadn't done before, hubby being a non doggy person scuttled off to work. As soon as the door was closed he ran into me and promptly jumped on my lap shaking. A thunder storm commenced! He was petrified bless him. I cuddled him, stroked him and talkedhim through it....it was so nice to have someone in the house more scared than me of thunderstorms!!

Every night he would follow hubby up to bed and sleep either on the top step or outside our bedroom door. I would call him down to go pee just before I was going to bed...and he would wait for me to brush my hair, go to the toilet, lock up and take my tablets before he followed me to bed. As hubby snores I sleep in the spare room, Sam always lay at the side of the bed.....and he didn't snore once!!

Our walks were lovely...it's amazing what you see that you hadn't noticed before when dog walking. For a start other dog owners smile at you as if you are a long lost friend. Some people, obviously not dog lovers, cross the raod to avoid you. You see people leaving their house at regular times, you notice peoples gardens. The noises coming from their houses etc etc. It oened my eyes to a whole new world.

I took some piccies of him on my mobile phone (did I mention it's pink). But trying to get the relelvant cable and software for transferring piccies to the computer is a nightmare! As soon as I have managed it I will put the said piccies on here.

We visited my Mum and Dad's to retune their new telly. The other one was jinxed so they swapped it. Sam wasn't much help with the remote controls though.....his paws were too big LOL.

We visited the in laws, and Sa, was so well behaved even around the young children. One of my brother in laws thought he was mine and hubby's and said how it was such a good idea for us to get a dog.......I'll have to ask him to tell hubby lots of times to drop the hint.

All in all it was an amazing few days.

I miss him today. I sat reading the paper and kept expecting to hear the sound of his feet on the floor.....I looked up a few times expecting to see his big brown eyes looking at me.....:(

But I missed my blog too....I missed catching up on everyone. I missed so much! Holli has moved! Willow has tagged me, which I must reply to. I'll catch up, I'll read up, and look at Moggie's pictures in more detail.

The stat counter on here has shot up too! I wonder if anyone missed me LOL.

I'm back.....to bore you to pices with my insane ramblings mwaaahaaaahaaaa!

Hugs all round....I missed you guys

Todays The Day!!!

I know.....we are only dogsitting.....but it's gonna be my idea of heaven!!

Yesterday was my last lie in for just over a week. I am going to get up early every day the doggy Sam is here to help keep him within his routine.

So I got up and read the papers, had a bath and dressing change, and then waited patiently for Sis In Law.....and she was on time/early!

Babysitting Little Miss Pink and Little Miss Purple was cool. They were really well behaved, and hubby was too which is a miracle. Well I say he behaved.....he did while the girls were around, once they had gone up to bed I swear him and Mr Bleach (Bro In Law) were having a breaking wind competition!

After a fish and chip supper and a good old chin wag we came home. Hubby was tired, he has been all week bless him. For now he has less stress in his new job, no doubt once he has learned the basics it will change. But it's soooo nice to have him home at about six in the evenings, and nice to know that he doesn't leave home in the mornings until after eight. It used to be not much after six am and home anytime between seven and ten pm!

When he was considering changing jobs, his main concern was the fact that he may need to work away from home sometimes. I told him straight, I would prefer him working away from home and being happy, rather than working all hours including weekends, and in the evenings and being stressed out. So far the change has done him good :)

I nearly sang the theme tune to the twighlight zone last night as well.....SIL (Sis In Law) was showing me some pictures on the pc and there were some of poppies, amongst other flowers on there. Weird.....only two nights ago I had been out in our garden and taken about four pictures of our poppies! Hubby saw the ones one SIL's pc and thought they were mine!! Dooo doo doo doo LOL.

So this morning I was up bright and early, washed and hung out loads of clothes, helped Mum around the house.....yes I did help this week!

I lay out in the sun for a while, felt myself burning and went in and had a cold bath. I lay on the bed trying to get a sleep in, but no....my tummy wanted food.

SO here I am fed and watered, blogging and waiting patiently for hubby to come home and then the phone call to say doggy Sam is on his way :)

My college friend is visiting tomorrow afternoon as well....she has been warned that there will be a dog on the loose......and it's not Sam! My friend only bumped into (literally) Mr Robbie Williams on her travels...she is bringing her photo's with her, she might get mugged by me and end up without them LOL. (jke)

I've known her since I was seventeen so thats ermmmmmmmmmm 18 years!! OMG I feel old.
Anyway.....I'm too excited to type too much, I'm off to surf for a while.

This One's For Hubby......You Found Me

Just to reiterate my sloppiness here are the lyrics to Kelly Clarksons' You Found Me

Is this a dream?
If it is
Please don't wake me from this high
I'd become
Comfortably numb
Until you opened up my eyes
To what it's like
When everything's right
Oh, I can't believe

You found me
When no one else was looking
How did you know just where I would be?
Yeah, you broke through all of my confusion
The ups and the downs and you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
You found me
You found me

So here we are
And that's pretty far
When you think of where we've been
No going back
I'm fading out
All that has faded me within
You're by my side
Now everything's fine
I can't believe

You found me
When no one else was looking
How did you know just where I would be?
Yeah, you broke through all of my confusion
The ups and the downs and you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
You found me
You found me

And I was hiding
Till you came along
And showed me where I belong
You found me

You found me
When no one else was looking
How did you know?
How did you know?

You found me
When no one else was looking
How did you know just where I would be?
Yeah, you broke through all of my confusion
The ups and the downs and you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
You found me

(You found me)
(When no one else was looking)
You found me)
(How did you know just where I would be)
You broke through all of my confusion
The ups and the downs and you still didn't leave
I guess that you saw what nobody could see
The good and the bad and the things in between
You found me
You found me

They say so much, mean so much, and I'm so grateful that he found me.

Hugs

That Cornish Guy had me in Fits Of Laughter!!!

Sunday went waaaay too fast!

OK so I got up late again! I read the papers, while hubby was out in the garden. Then I caught up on blogs and Crohns zone stuff..started downloading some music and panic!

It was nearly time for us to go out to see Jethro and we hadn't even eaten!

There was a mad rush of showers and baths, shaves and hair washes, getting dressed, putting on make up, me not hubby and heading off toBirmingham.

As usual hubby hadn't checked where we were heading so we had a round tour of the city centre, I finally spotted a stage door right opposite a car park and said we ought to stop. We parked up, had two minute walk, and sure enough it was the right place.....hows that for being clever?!

We had a quick drink and headed in to our seats. I thought they were really comfortable, ok not much leg room, but comfy. The woman next to me thought differently, and told her husband so at least thirty times during the evening. That was in between fidgetting. Every time she moved the whole row of seats moved.....blimey it was annoying.

Anyway, the support guy came came on, a singer Sean Perry. He had an amazing voice, but (Putting my big head on now) being a singer myself in the past, I would have advised him to sing different songs. Preferably ones that he could hit all the notes to!

At last what we had been waiting for.....Jethro came on!

Hubby and I were in fits of laughter right from the beginning. Ok so he is a bit rude....but it was soooo funny.

I am going to tell you one of the jokes now....probably not as well, but it is a clean one LOL.

A camel is talking to his mum and he asks "Mum why do I have a hump on my back?" She replies "Son, you have a hump on your back because it can store water, and in the searing hot days on the dessert you need all the water you can get".

"Wow that's clever" He replies.

"Mum? Why do I have such big feet?"

"Son you have such big feet because the soft sand in the dessert is hard to walk on, your feet spread out and it makes it easy for you to walk on the hot soft sand".

"Wow that's clever" He replies.

"Mom? Why do I have such big eyelashes?"

"Son, you have such big eyelashes, so that when the hot soft sand of the dessert flies up during a sand storm, your eyelashes protect your eyes to help you see. That means that you can have your water, your feet can walk on the hot soft sand, and you can see where you are going because your eyelashes are protecting your vision from the hot soft sand".

"Wow that's clever" He replais.

"Mom? Why are we in London Zoo?"

Well I thought it was funny......there is another one but I'll save that for tomorrow.

After the show we drove around to three or four chip shops as we were both starving....but at ten thirty they were all closed! My stomach was doing back flips, somersaults and mexin waves!

We got home and had some scrummy cheese and pickle batches.......did I mention I'm hooked on cheese and pickle?

I was most surprised when hubby sat and watched the end of Reisident Evil with me. I had seen it last year so knew the ending, but he sat and watched it all. I didn'y think he liked zombie films!

Hubby went to bed, and I stayed up just to chill and have some "me" time in front of the telly like I always do.

Eventually I went upstairs with my little shot of whisky. I said goodnight to my good luck charm and slept......and yes I got up late today as well LOL.

3 days to go until doggy Sam arrives!!!

For now I will love you and leave you.

Hugs for all, even the camels in London zoo :)

Takeaways And Turn Ups

Friday was yet another lazy day. Late out of bed, and all I managed to do was pop over to the doctors to collect a repeat prescription. I have been at that doctors for about fourteen years now, and they still can't get my prescriptions right!

On my way home I saw my next door neighbour outside, she said she couldn't stop to chat as their dog was ill! Poor doggy.....hubby saw him being carried into the house on his way back from the vets. He is obviously quite poorly as all he is doing is groaning and barking poor thing. I have made a mental note not to let Sam anywhere near him!

Speaking of which, 5 days to go!!! Hopefully he will be staying with us for longer than just the original plan of four days :)

Last night we had a lovely take away. Chinese pork ribs and fried rice....I ate tos, but it was beautiful.

Then the phone rang and it was Sis In Law. Her and Bro In Law had been out for a meal and were popping round for coffee. Now Sis In Law will think I am saying this because she said the same thing last night. But I'm not! They are two of the only people other than my Mum and Dad who we don't have to worry about popping round. If anyone else is coming round I will frantically tidy up, put plates and dishes in the bowl ready to be washed up, and generally make the place look tidy. But with them.......they understand, they don't mind, they take us as they find us :)

I checked on Little Miss Purple, and the tooth fairy has visited yayyyyyy!

It was fun, we put the world to rights, hubby rambled on in a drunken state and us girlies drooled at John Bon Jovi on the Johnathon Ross show.

I have to say it was weird watching it with hubby and Bro In Law there.....they don't realise it but they are quite alike!

Last week when we were at their house there were a couple of times when I thought Bro In Law was hubby.....luckily I didn't pinch his bum or anything...I reckon it was the tee shirt LOL.

I'm lucky to have a Sis and Bro In Law like that. Sis In Law has seen me cry more times than I care to remember, but she always slaps me on the back and tells me to get on with it in the nicest possible way :) She was the first person my Mum thought to call when I was told I needed to have my big operation for my ileostomy. Even then, in the really bad times she made me laugh.

Ok, so Sis In Law won't be able to get her head out of the door now.....enuff praise!!

"Eine Kleine Bloomen Kuh!" Probably spelt very badly.

Saturday was lovely. ANother lie in for me, and when I got up hubby had put our new umbrella up outside. I twas bliss to sit in the shade in the fresh air.

I sat playing with my Nintendogs seing as I had a phone call off my Mum saying she has more trainer points than me now I need to catch her up!!

We had a scrummy bbq for dinner. I think hubby smoked out the neighbours but it was worth it.

While we were watching a combination of Big Brother and Strictly Come Dancing I attacked hubby's toe nails......eeeeewwwwwwwwww feet!!!

So now it's eleven thirty and I'm blogging.

The number son here have really shot up......over two thousand hits...I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it :)

I'll be off to bed soon.....hopefully a quieter night than last night as long as next doors doggy is better.

Jethro tomorrow, Sam in five days and Robbie in three and a half months!

Hugs and love to all

Sleepy Bunny Welcomes Pickle on Nintendogs

I'm still sleeping for england this week.

I was up early yesterday as Mum came round. Yet again I was naughty and ended up playing with the Nintendogs rather than helping! Mum now has five dogs. Shnauzer - Shandy, a black poodle who's name I can't remember. White poodle called Titch, and two Shelties, Star and another name beginning with S.

I still say that game is one of the cleverest there is. ALong our walks Mum and I have been collecting records. You can play them to the dogs. Most of them they don't react to, but we have founf two that they do! The Flower Waltz gets them all dancing together, turning, bowing to each other, jumping and doing somersaults, while Colonel Bogey, which I haven't got yet, gets them all marching around the room in a circle! The more you play it, the cleverer and more addicitve it gets!

The other day, I had taken Whisky (No 1 dog) for a walk, we had practised frizbee in the park, she had played with other dogs, then I bathed her and entered her in the frizbee challenge. She came first with 50 points!

WHen we got home Tia the black pug was waiting for her. WHisky was thirsty so I gave her some milk. Tia was obviously jealous as each time WHisky went to drink it she nudged the bowl away from her! It was sooooo funny. Poor Whisky sitting to drink and Tia pushing the bowl around the room. I had to tell her off in the end, but she did react to my voice and behave eventually.

Seing as Mum now has two Sheltie's....I just had to get one too......I chose wisely, a lovely tempered dog, and I couldn't think of a better name than Pickle. I hope Pickle in blog land doesn't mind.

Oh My......I've become a Nintendog Addict!!

Hubby started his new job yesterday. He is on induction this week and next, and was home by six fifteen!! I was totally unprepared, dinner not even started. Tutt tutt, this housewife needs to have dinner ready as soon as hubby gets in from work.....yeah right!

He went upstairs to get changed, and put on his leaving present from his colleagues at his old job. A lovely bright red official England tee shirt!! He sat there proudly on the sofa wearing his tee shirt, and using the England zippo lighter they had brought him as well. Who ever had the idea for those presents obviously knows him well :)

We sat and chatted, mainly about Nintendogs....poor bloke, had dinner and watched Big Brother. I Can't wait for tonights eviction...it's going to be such a difficult one. Three big personalities all up for eviction! Roll on eight thirty.

I'm a little worried about Little Miss Purple.....I do hope she has recovered from SUnday :( I just keep thinking about what happened, what could have happened, and it makes me nervous!

I reckon I need to put hubby on a leash!

Sunday we are off to see Jethro the cornish comedian in Birmingham....hopefully a night of laughs, as long as I can get comfortable sitting.

Six days to go until Sam arrives.....woooohooooo!

It also is the same day that the world cup starts booooooooooo!!

gin and tonic has been updated as well. So please pop along and read the next installment.

Oh well......enuff for today, I'm off to wake up a bit and play on my Nintendog, did I mention it's addictive..................

Love and hugs

WHisky
