Thank you for the celebrations! & Oh so sore!!

Before I go any further, I need to say a BIG thankyou to NN for the box of celebrations! They cheered me up yesterday when hubby got home "reasonably" early. So "thankyou". I haven't started them yet, but no doubt when I do they won't last very long.

I haven't posted for the last couple of days. No it's not because I have been spending all my time playing with my new phone......although I have been playing. It's cos things in HS world have started getting worse. It always gets bad.......ermm about this time of the lunar calendat, if you know what I mean girls. But this flare up is really, and I mean really sore.

I'm seing my gastro specialist, Dr Loft tomorrow. It's mainly due to the reaction from the Infliximab a fortnight ago, but I'm going to get him to check the HS. He saw it when he saw me last time, (again about a fortnight ago) so he can see just how bad it gets when it's bad. How to describe the pain? Imagine every time you move, stand up, walk, bend down to pick something up, and sit (or in my case lean to one side), a tearing pain. As if someone had a pair of scissors and was slowly cutting a hole in the top, inside of your leg. That's HS. Not to mention the lovely purple colour it goes, (which I've been told is completely normal). The only time it doesn't hurt, is after I have been sitting (leaning) for 5 minutes, after I've laid in bed for 5 minutes, and while I'm knelt in the bath. Apart from that it's a blast!

I said I wouldn't do this.....but right now HS, E Bay, new phone (did I mention it's pink?), blogging, talking to people on the phone, and crocheting are all I have to talk about!

E bay is going really well. We have some books that just don't want to sell, but the pens seem to be going ok. We have nearly used all of hubby's stash from up in the loft, so I may resort to selling myself.......any bids? Nahhh didn't think so LOL.

The Bride and Groom to be didn't make it at the weekend. In a way it was a blessing as I really struggled to stay out of bed, but we have set a date for early December.

Ma in Law was due to visit today, but I had to decline. I aimed to go back to bed, wrap myself in the duvet and sleep. But I ended up reading for a while and then coming back downstairs to chain smoke. It's going to be an early start for me tomorrow and Thursday. Hospital tomorrow morning, and weekly houswork/ironing and catch up girly talk with my Mum. So Friday will be a chill out/sleep all day I think.

Anyway, sorry for the depressing post, it's not that bad really......hubby should be home soon and I can have a cuddle and an early night.
